On October 12, the official Bandai Hobby website updated with details on its upcoming HG 1/24 Spiricle Striker Mugen (Claris) model kit. In addition to several photos, the page includes basic details on the model, itself.
Details
Claris’ Mugen will feature a working arm that carries her grimoire, to match the rig set up on her in-game unit.
In addition, the model will include two versions of Claris’ trademark weapon: one open, one closed. For the open book variant, builders will be able to recreate the pages by cutting out a section of the instruction manual.
Much like previous models in the line, the Claris HG 1/24 will feature articulated joints, as well as an openable cockpit. The kit will include an unpainted version of pilot Clarissa “Claris” Snowflake, which will sit inside.
Bandai will release the HG 1/24 Spiricle Striker Mugen (Claris) model kit in January 2021. It will have a suggested price of 4950 yen ($47.07 USD)) when it ships to retailers.
This is the fifth model the Sakura Wars (2019) HG 1/24 series. Previous model kits include the Spiricle Strikers for Sakura Amamiya, Seijuro Kamiyama, and Azami Mochizuki. A model based on Anastasia Palma’s Mugen will ship to stores in November.
In January 2020, Bandai shipped HG 1/20 models for Sakura Shinguji and Ichiro Ogami’s Kobu Kai units. These were followed up by the release of the HG 1/20 Sumire Kanzaki model in March 2020.
