Earlier today, Sega hosted a live streaming event for Sakura Revolution: Maidens In Bloom (Sakura Kakumei: Hanasaku Otome-tachi). At the start of the stream, the publisher revealed a new series overview video for the Sakura Wars franchise. The five-minute trailer introduces the six mainline games in the franchise date that were released to date. At the 2:29 mark, the teaser cuts to an short archival interview segment with series composer Kohei Tanaka. In it, Tanaka discusses his excitement for the franchise, and how he would love to work on it one more time.
The teaser then cuts to the overviews for Sakura Wars (2019) and Sakura Revolution.
A second Sakura Revolution streaming event is slated for October 16, at 12:00 JST (10/16/2020 at 3:00 UTC ; 10/15/2020 at 11:00PM EDT ; 10/15/2020 at 8:00PM PDT)
