On January 12, Sega and DelightWorks hosted a live streaming event for Sakura Revolution: Maidens In Bloom (Sakura Kakumei: Hanasaku Otome-tachi). During the presentation, the publisher announced that they launched the game’s third chapter on January 12, at 20:00 JST (1/12/2020 at 6:00AM EST / 3:00AM PST).
The new chapter will see Shino and the new Imperial Combat Revue travel to Shikoku, where they will battle to liberate the prefectures of Tokushima, Kagawa, Ehime, and Kochi.
A trailer for the arc was also unveiled, in which Shino Sakura (voiced by Moeka Kishimoto) describes the core plot, as well as the local delicacies she hopes to chow down on while she’s in Shikoku. At the midway point, the teaser introduces four new cast members.
Four characters, as well as a promotional event, were unveiled to celebrate the news, the details of which we break down below.

The series will add the following:
- Dogo Mitsu (CV: Mikina Nitsu)
- Sana Sudachi (CV: Anna Yamaki)
- Shimanto Yusura (CV: Kaeko Ono)
- Noa Kanonji (CV: Yukiko Morishita)

Promotional Event
To celebrate the launch, Sega and DelightWorks are hosting an in-game event titled the “Shikoku Regional Recapture Campaign.” Players will work toward collaborative rewards in recapturing the Shikoku region, with the prize offering growing with each milestone of players who complete the storyline. The prize list is as follows:
- 2,000 laps: 3-star card –
- 4,000 laps: Free Gacha Pull ticket
- 6,000 laps: Free Gacha Pull ticket
- 8,000 laps: Free Gacha Pull ticket
- 10,000 laps: 300 spiricle crystals
In addition, a free Large Steam Fuel, plus a daily challenge key will be distributed for every 5,000 laps reached.
To participate, players must be clear the first main quest of Chapter 3.
About Sakura Revolution
Sakura Revolution launched on December 15. On December 22, Sega Sammy announced that the title had reached 500,000 downloads. The title is a mobile RPG that’s being developed by DelightWorks (Fate/Grand Order). The title was originally announced via two dueling projects: Sega’s Project B.L.A.C.K. and Delightworks’ Nippon Dakkan, before both were revealed to be one and the same during a live streaming event on September 2, 2020.
