On February 9, Sega launched a new event in Sakura Revolution: Maidens In Bloom’s (Sakura Kakumei: Hanasaku Otome-tachi). The limited-time event, titled “Critical Valentine Maidens’ Recipe,” runs from February 9 through 22, 2021. All players who cleared the Aogashima chapter are able to participate.

Trailer

A three-minute trailer was revealed for the event, which is narrated by event stars Mutsuha Mogami (CV: Karin Takahashi) and Tsutsuji Takasaki (CV: Megumi Yamaguchi). The two Flower Division members explain the basic plot behind the event and the the prizes that players can earn.

Story

Sega describes the plot as:

The girls are making chocolates on Valentine’s Day.

However, those who who aren’t used to making chocolate continue to fail…

In order to get chocolates themself – no, to help their team, the commander has decided to help them all practice their chocolate-making skills!

From February 9, 2021 through February 22, 2021, all main scenario quests, free quests, and sub-quests will drop event-specific items, which can be exchanged for various prizes.

Spirit Emblems

Players can earn five Spirit Emblems through the event.

The “With Love From Aogashima” emblem can be earned by exchanging Heart Emblems and Cute Wrapping Paper. All others can be obtained via the event-specific gacha, which runs through February 22.

The four-star “With Love From Aogashima” Emblem can be upgraded to a 5-Star emblem, if players have four of the 4-Star emblems.

Trust Rewards

In addition, by raising a team member’s trust level to Rank 2 or higher, players can trigger a unique conversation event. Listening to this will reward the player with event-specific dialogue, as well as a Maiden’s Chocolate item that recovers 200 AP.

About Sakura Revolution

Sakura Revolution was originally announced via two dueling projects: Sega’s Project B.L.A.C.K. and Delightworks’ Nippon Dakkan, before both were revealed to be one and the same during a live streaming event on September 2, 2020.

Chapter 3 officially debuted on January 12, 2021.

Analytics service App Annie reports that the game was the #2 most downloaded title in Japan’s iOS App Store and the top downloaded game on the Google Play store for December 2020.

On December 22, 2020, Sega Sammy announced that the title had reached 500,000 downloads. On January 21, 2021, Sega announced that the title crossed one million downloads.
