On June 23, Sega’s Puyo Puyo Quest mobile app launched a new crossover event, titled the “Sega x Puyo Puyo Collaboration Gacha.” The event, which runs through July 7, allows players to obtain several seven-star units from past events, including the Sakura Wars cast.

A visual for the event was revealed, which includes eight characters from the Sakura Wars franchise:

  • Erica Fontaine
  • Gemini Sunrise
  • Sakura Amamiya
  • Hatsuho Shinonome
  • Clarissa “Claris” Snowflake
  • Azami Mochizuki
  • Anastasia Palma

A new Sakura Wars-centric questline, titled “Ichiro Ogami Invades!” (“Ogami Ichiro Shūrai!”) as well as three classic storylines were also released as part of the campaign.

Ichiro Ogami Invades!

“Ichiro Ogami Invades!” is a solo campaign that focuses on the iconic first lead of the Imperial Combat Revue. On first clear, players will obtain a four-star Ichiro Ogami unit. This can be raised up to a seven-star level rarity with a max level of 120.

In addition, players can earn a six-star card for Ogami’s dual otachi swords.

Classic Quests

Three classic quests are also available:

  • Flower Division and Puyo Showdown Storm (Hanagumi Taiin to Puyo Shōbu no Arashi)
  • A Soul of Justice In A Serious Challenge! (Shinken Shōbu no Seigi Tamashī!)
  • Sakura Wars Limited Story (Sakura Taisen Gentei Story)
